My first idea of a date is to meet a girl at Borders and to meet her at her sect...
My first idea of a date is to meet a girl at Borders and to meet her at her section of interest so she can tell me about her interests in life. Next we will move to my section (history) so I can drop some knowledge on her. Finally we will sit down at the lounge and get to know each other.

I think a first date should be quiet enough to be able to talk, but fun and busy...
I think a first date should be quiet enough to be able to talk, but fun and busy enough so that the two of us will have other things to focus on when those moments of awkward silence crop up. Thus, I like playful atmospheres to get to know each other such as, kayaking, playing pool, go-carts, or putt-putt.
